The perennial favorite, Los Pájaros, take us back to a traditional Trini Christmas. Los Pajaros, a Brampton, Ontario-based Parang group, was formed in 1994 from a village family of Morne Diablo who emigrated to Canada from Trinidad. Along with Glen Cassar, a prominent “parrandero” from Sangre Grande, the Partap and Mohan families were able to crystallize their music style, developed through a long history of involvement in Parang and through family ties to renowned Trinidadian Parang artists Daisy Voisin and Sylvestre Mata.

Los Amigos will return to perform traditional Aguinaldos and Latin American folk music alongside the contemporary Soca Parang makes the band a favorite, as audiences enjoy a spirited performance of well-balanced music and harmonic voices.

For the first time, the Limers Association is pleased to present up-and-coming comedian Ken Mohabir. His Caribbean-tinged comedy will keep you in stitches for the rest of the hight.

The Limers Committee is pleased to present the Hummingbird Tassa Group to play out the evening. Their performance promises to add a unique touch to Parangfest.
